Camping Fairy

I was cleaning out my photo folder and came across this photo I'd saved a while ago.(design sponge maybe?) Anyway..I just love this! It is my idea of camping..out in nature but a little fairy dust of happy mixed in..and during this snowy, wintery weather that we are going through right now I could use a little fairy dust. In the words of Tina Fey..."I want to go there.."

Someday.

Circle of Life..for glass.

For months we have been saving glass from my (much enjoyed) wine bottles. After taking a few pics of my favorite lables we threw the bottles back into the circle of life'. And it did feel good...It felt great to finally dispose of your glass bottles so that that may be used again. I've always felt a tinge of guilt with every clink of glass each time I threw them away before. Cheers!

First batch of Ripple Glass has been recycled into insulation

Yesterday Ripple Glass announced that the first batch of insulation made from Kansas Citians’ recycled beer and wine bottles rolled of the production line at Owens-Corning’s KCK plant.
